Our club was first incorporated as Queensland Amateur Sporting Hovercraft Inc on 10th October
1986. It later changed it's name to Queensland Sporting Hovercraft Inc on 18th July 1989, and
later joined the Australian Hovercraft Federation Inc as a branch and was deincorporated in
Queensland on 19th September 2002.
The principal aims of the Queensland Sporting Hovercraft Club are to promote the safe use of light
hovercraft for recreation and sport, as well as helping builders to produce safe and practical crafts
to enjoy the thrill of low level flying in the world's most environmentally friendly motorised vessel.
