Our club was first incorporated as Queensland Amateur Sporting Hovercraft Inc on 10th October 1986. It later changed it's name to Queensland Sporting Hovercraft Inc on 18th July 1989, and later joined the Australian Hovercraft Federation Inc as a branch and was deincorporated in Queensland on 19th September 2002.

The principal aims of the Queensland Sporting Hovercraft Club are to promote the safe use of light hovercraft for recreation and sport, as well as helping builders to produce safe and practical crafts to enjoy the thrill of low level flying in the world's most environmentally friendly motorised vessel.

We meet in the Meeting Room of the Coopers Plains Library, 107 Orange Grove Road, Coopers Plains, 4108 at 7:30 pm on the third Tuesday of each month, with the exception of December. (Too close to Christmas)
