Dear Air Cushion Vehicle enthusiast, The Queensland branch held a planning meeting at the SAAA hall at Archerfield Aerodrome on Tuesday, 19th August 2008 which was attended by Des Goss, Phillip Audsley, Angus Kerr, Peter Venn, Arthur Stead, and Steven Odgaard. Cruise report - Muriel Street, Redland Bay, Saturday 2nd August 2008. The cruise scheduled for Saturday 2nd August from Muriel Street, Redland Bay was attended by:- Peter Venn - Turbo TP6 Arthur Stead - Revtech Renegade Des Goss - Turbo Wedge 225 Steven Odgaard - Billy Baker 2. At long last - we had blue skies, bright sunshine and a light breeze for an enjoyable bay cruise. Des Goss, Arthur Stead and Peter Venn & Elaine launched from 96 Muriel Street Redland Bay and cruised north along the Redland Bay Channel, keeping just off the western side of Lagoon Island, then up the eastern side of St. Clair Island before making a brief stop at Point Talburpin.
