Queensland Sporting Hovercraft Club
A branch of the Australian Hovercraft Federation Inc (Vic)

Cruise report - Clontarf boat ramp - 9:30am Sunday, 7th November 2004.

Dear Air Cushion Vehicle enthusiast,
I received a phone call from Des Goss at 7:00am this morning about the planned cruise today at 9:30am. He has spoken to Angus Kerr who is presently on the Gold Coast, and due to the current thunderstorms, this morning's club cruise will unfortunately have to be cancelled. Philip Audsley, another regular cruiser is away this month for a well deserved holiday.
I apologise for any inconvenience this late notice has caused to any member wishing to spectate today. The rain however is very welcome after the drought.

Our last club meeting for 2004 was held on Monday 15th November:-
Club members wishing to receive this news in 2005 are reminded to renew their membership. $30.00 can be paid to our treasurer: Phil Audsley at any of the cruises or at an SAAA evening meeting, or alternatively post to the QSH Club at 52 Utrecht Street, Loganholme, Qld 4129.

Next club cruise:-
Angus and Des chose Skinners Road for a suitable launch site to travel from the mouth of the Albert River at the Logan junction, to the Beenleigh - Mt Warren and Bannockburn districts, and if possible, the Stanmore Road causeway.
If time allows, we may have lunch at the old Rum Distillery.
Meet at Skinners Road on Sunday, 12th December 2004, for a 10:00am launch.

Next Queensland branch meeting:-
7:30pm Monday, 17th January 2005.
SAAA hall at Archerfield Aerodrome.
Beatty Road Qld 4108.
