The annual Brisbane Riverfestival Bridge to Bridge hovercraft display took place on Saturday, 30th
August 2003 from 3:05 pm to 3:20 pm on the Brisbane River in front of the Southbank Parklands.
First place:- Bryan Davidson in a Turbo Wedge 240.
(Angus Kerr’s cruising craft) built by Qld Hovercraft Supplies.
Second place:- Neil Batley of Taree NSW in a Turbo Razor.

Third place:- Phillip Audsley in a Turbo Wedge 225.
designed by Owen Ellis of Melbourne.
Angus Kerr participated in the initial display, but was unable to start in the bridge to bridge

Next club cruise:-
The next club cruise will be at Skinners Road, Carbrook, on Sunday, 21st September 2003.
Meet at the Skinners Road boat ramp for a 10:00 am launch and a cruise in the Logan River.
Turn-off the Pacific Highway at Bryants Road in front of the Logan Hyperdome.
Next Queensland branch meeting:-
7:30pm - Tuesday 18th November 2003.
SAAA hall at Archerfield Aerodrome.

There is no meeting in October due to Phillip Audsley and Steven Odgaard being interstate.
