Cruise report - Wellington Point - Sunday, 24th November 2002.

Dear Air Cushion Vehicle enthusiast,
At our last meeting at Archerfield on Tuesday, 19th November 2002, two cruises were planned. One for November and one for December. Angus and Des organised a cruise at Wellington Point for Sunday, 24th November 2002, meeting there for a 9:00 am launch.
This was well attended with three hovercraft being there:-

Angus Kerr - Turbo Wedge 240,
Des Gos - Turbo Wedge 225, and visitor,
Mike Rutterman - Vortex, from Coochiemudlo Island.

Mike has a Vortex and together the three craft made a trip to Green Island which is to the north of Wellington Point and King Island.
Also in attandance was Des' friends from England and Geoff Langford.

Other News:-
Phillip Audsley gives his apologies as he got married on Saturday, 9th November 2002 and is on his honeymoon with wife Kerri at Norfolk Island. He will be back in 2 weeks, but unfortunately not in time for our meeting.

Next club cruise:-
The next cruise was planned by Angus Kerr for the same location at Wellington Point as the last one, but on a Saturday instead. Saturday 7th December, and as this will be our last cruise for the year, it will also be our Christmas barbecue.
Angus and Peter Venn have to work in the morning and so it will be a afternoon meeting.
Meet at the Wellington Point boat ramp at 2:00 pm.

Next Queensland branch meeting:-
7:30 pm - Tuesday, 21st January 2003.
SAAA hall at Archerfield Aerodrome.
Beatty Road Qld 4108.
